Native application development in context of mobile applications are those apps that has been written specifically for a platform and for each device on that platform. Since the app is built specifically for the mobile hardware it can take advantage of all the features of the operating system. There are certain features and functionalities that are offered by only a specific operating system (Say 3D touch on iOS). The application developer needs to identify the use cases of those feature and embed logics that provides a meaningful user experience in the application for using those features. Because a native application is tailored specifically for OS and the Device, it does not compromise on the user experience and user can take full leverage.
